eclectic Paperie - The beginning of the hop
Thank you so much for joining us and make some time this week to create art and craft your story...

Glad you got a chance to play with the art parts!
ReplyDeleteI love them!!
Even the way you decorated the flower petals reminds me of the way we used to decorate cookies with the little silver balls! And always piled on way more than anyone wanted to eat!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing transformation of the art part - and an adorable frame for a lovely photo!

Amazing Michelle!! I simply adore that you added a piece of vintage jewelry!! So beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughter is adorable. What a clever idea to use the back of a canvas to create a shadowbox. This flower does look like an elegant cookie with the "icing" and the vintage earring. The little fabric tie and heart charm are sweet! Love the sentiment you added.
ReplyDeleteI swear I will forever look at Art Parts as cookies now!! How CLEVER! Your frame turned out sooo adorable (and what a cutie to showcase!!)
ReplyDeleteThis is darling. And I love that you used cake decorating tools with modeling paste. Great out of the box idea.
ReplyDeleteI never thought about likening the Art Parts to bare cookies just screaming for 'icing'! Hmmm...you've got me thinking. Nice job on the frame!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on the frame. Love your flower!
ReplyDeleteWow, Michelle, your frame is just beautiful--as is the sweet baby girl in the photo. Great inspiration.
ReplyDeletelove the shadow box frame
ReplyDeletewowsers how did you do those beads onto the flower.....WOW. This is one beautiful frame and one heck of cute little adorable baby.
ReplyDeleteAnd OMG that is pure genius....cake decorating tools and modeling paste. Woohoo, now I can dig my cake decor tools out and know what to use them on. (Yeah, friend talked me into a cake decorating class a couple of years ago- 1st and last cake class :-)
Gorgeous.
LOL....Micki, think of all those naked frames just waiting for that modeling paste decorating for texture! Yes, I friend that dragged me too and then I never touched the tools again! ;)
Deletethis project is just fantastic & makes me long for my mom’s sugar cookies!:)
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful and unique creation. Love the flower - great ideas. Will certainly continue to follow your blog.
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely little frame Michelle! love that flower and wonderful box word sentiment!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! Love the 'cookie' flower! Hmm using the backside of a canvas...cool idea. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed that, with the size of the flower, you've still managed to complement the photo of your granddaughter rather than compete with it. Not sure I could do the same -- way to go!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfectly fabulous piece of art, Michelle, framing your gorgeous little granddaughter! Love that you got into the "cookie" mode and added the earring! Perfect!!
ReplyDeleteTruly awesome! The first word that came to my mind when I got to your blog was "WOW"!
