buried alive

hellloooooo to you!
i know, it's been a couple weeks since i've been here and i am so sorry.

i'm attempting to tie up some loose ends on some courses i buried myself with.
i can admit to you today that i am in way over my head with course work.
it's all amazing and i am so happy to be learning from
so many different and talented artists but it's a tad bit time consuming to say the least.
not even sure where i thought i would find the time but i have learned my lesson!

these are the courses i have taken or am still enrolled in:

yes, i am THAT crazy to have taken this many.
have there been others?
probably.

i don't recommend taking this many as much of
the material, friendships, knowledge and insight gets pushed by the wayside
and i am left to feel less than adequate because i just know i've missed so much.

anyhow....

begins in a couple months and that will be it for next year.
i will be able to focus more on my own style, artsy friendships and my business.
and of course, be a bit more involved with my blogging!

hope you have a wonderful day and find the time to create and play today.

  2. Nothing like taking courses and workshops from artists! It's addicting, but it's fun and wonderful work and learning and knowledge and oh, I wish I were taking as many as you! Enjoy them all!

  3. lol, and here I was overwhelmed with my 4th class in two month. You go girl! As much as I want to sign up for Christy's Whimsy Winter class, I have to pass. I am going to ask my family to buy me some of Christy's classes for Christmas.... we'll how that turns out.

Thank you again....... without your encouragement and links, I would have never thought I could do any of this.

  5. LOL Michelle, this post made me laugh out loud. Your list looks very much like mine. What were we thinking?? I am learning heaps but also wondering if all the time I spend watching videos and learning techniques would be better spent actually doing the art. I am still considering the Life Book. It is sooooo tempting but I also want to start creating more and developing my style. Also wanted to say thankyou for sharing and being real. I am very inspired by you. xx Jo

  6. Oh my...I would be totally drowning! LOL I'm an one of those people who is afraid of getting overwhelmed. I am learning to say 'YES' to wonderful things like Brave Girls Art School! So glad we 'met' there, Michelle!

  7. I think with crafting and creativity it is so hard to say know when your heart wants to just take it all in and learn everything you can. At least you have a basis for what you want to create.
